 The
Medical College of Georgia, located in Augusta, Georgia is the official sponsor
of the DMAT GA-4 team. Disaster Medical Assistance teams operate under the
auspices of the Office of Emergency Response in the Department of Homeland Security.
Team members, which consist of Nurses, Physicians, Paramedics, EMT's and support
staff, train routinely and deploy in the event of an actual disaster to provide
